Their beauty, their grace, they punch Nazis in the face… its Moisty Magic!
Moisty Magic is a sassy mouthed, fierce creature who is equal parts showgirl, rabble rouser, and opinionated arsehole. Renowned for acts of tongue in cheek social commentary and political satire, Moisty brandishes opinions as loud as their hair colour and wit as sharp as their eyeliner. Academic by day, sex worker by night, and performance activist any time they are allowed close enough to a stage.
As a performer and producer for over 10 years, Moisty has been winning titles and entertaining local, interstate, and international audiences. They have been recognized for their unforgettable performances, being awarded Miss Burlesque South Australia 2019, Miss Burlesque Adelaide 2016, and Miss Pole Dance SA 2017 Miss Entertainer. Moisty has extensive experience with festival show performance as part of the Australian Burlesque Festival, Principal case member of Somnia Adelaide Fringe 2020 and 2021, and Red Head Cabaret 2019, as well as a guest performer in Shake It 2021, Singing in the Pain 2020 and 2019, and Dawn of Just-Ass 2017, 2019, and 2020. Loud and proud whether they are on stage or in the wings, Moisty also contributes to the make-up of the local Burlesque and Cabaret scenes as Producer of Mx Burlesque SA, co-producer of Lucky Dip Tease, producer and creative director of Nude News Nightly, How to Make A Bimbo, as well as of their solo podcast Politics With A Pin-Up. As a local South Australian non-binary, queer performer and producer, Moisty certainly challenges the status quo and has certainly made a mark both on and off the stage with an ever-growing community and fan-base.
Definitely not for the faint of heart, this iconic political pin-up is a force to be reckoned with.
